Vintage Fashion - It’s So Beast!

Fashion is both an art and a way to express yourself. People take away big ideas about you simply by noting what you are wearing. We know that you may wear a uniform or dress code for school. When you dress to have fun, we suggest trying more than a “cookie cutter” look you can find in a “big box store.” Find a special piece of fashion that shows your unique style. Take a tiny budget shopping, be an eco minded stylist and find fashion treasures! You’ll know it when you look in the mirror and think, “this is so beast!”

VINTAGE shops are great and usually take you to a fun part of town. These are collections of clothes, shoes and accessories that have great style. Find something that makes you feel fabulous wearing it - like these red cowboy boots or vintage sunglasses above! If you don’t live near a vintage store look online! Here are a few ideas if you live in Barcelona, Sydney, Chicago or Vancouver!
THRIFT or SECOND HAND shops are also a great option. You usually have to take time and really sort through stuff to discover your special find. You will be surprised to find great brands that have been loved by someone else before you! Shop second hand for great bargains and to be eco minded! Look over items to make sure they are in good condition and wash before wearing. Have fun!
HANDMADE clothes and accessories are a sure way to find a look that is unique. You can support artisans selling their handmade goods by finding a crafts fair or market near you. There are also great websites with big selections like DaWanda in Europe, iCraft in Canada or Etsy in the U.S. We love to find hats, hairbands and more. Let us know what you find and we’ll share it here!
